The strategic changes launched for this season have been waived by show fees for designer members to show physically on the main event and doubling of investment in the LFW guest program, supported by the department for trade and business, which welcomes an extended cooperative of international presses, cultural comments and buyers in London.
The British Fashion Council announced the London Fashion Week schedule for September 18–22, with an 18 percent increase in participating designers and a strong focus on cultural relevance and global competition. Major highlights include show fees for designers, and much awaited return of reputed brands such as Barbari, Rocks and JW Anderson.
BFC stated on its website that the schedule reflects a designer-first approach: ambitious, purposeful and inherent in creative energy, which defines the city.
London Icon Barabari, Erdem, Emilia Wiksted, Simon Rocha and Roxanda return to the schedule, celebrates the brand with RoxandaWan Year, with a long time talent incubator Fashion East, which marks its 25Wan Birthday. In this season, JW will host a special evening program in collaboration with BFC to celebrate Anderson brand’s relay.
BFC/Vogue designer fashion fund winning Conner Iaves will show this September, with the creed label Chopova Lovana as well as the LFW schedule. The line-up also includes; Ahluwalia, Harris Reid, Labram London, Marcas Almeeda, Paolo Karzana, Patrick McDowell, Richard Quin, Talia Bayer and Tow.

The Bizing Culture and Commerce, LFW will also have retail-led activism, with stylist Harry Lambert launched a Disney X Zara Collection in Selfies, and H&M which is returning to schedule with ‘The London Issue’ Catwalk.
In an important moment of cultural exchange -famous Indian designer Anamika Khanna will debut her LFW to show the new commitment of BFC for international cooperation and to host global talent. Other Catwalk Debuts include Dreaming Ellie, Caseniser and Rori William Dutcher. Kyle Ho, Lucila Safi and Adaptive Fashion Brand Anhid will also debut with standalone presentations this season.
