Heavy rains and landslides in Jammu and Kashmir have created a serious situation. A total of 50 Gujarati people have been trapped there. Among these trapped passengers, 30 people were found to be in Gandhinagar and 20 people were residents of Palanpur. In the entire matter, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi have been instructed to take necessary steps to the Gujarat Police.
Ahmedabad: The situation is very serious about the landslide in Jammu. In addition, 50 people from Banaskantha and Gandhinagar have been stuck. In which Ramban district of Jammu is trapped on the highway. 50 people are trapped in the bus due to landslides. Among the trapped people, 30 people have been found to be from Gandhinagar. While 20 people have been found to be from Palanpur. The people trapped in Palanpur contacted the collector of Banaskantha. Banaskantha collector Mihir Patel contacted the collector of Ramban district and the rescue team was on his way to the scene.
In the entire matter, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi have been instructed to take necessary steps to the Gujarat Police. Gujarat police immediately arrested Jammu and Kashmir Police Control Room and Ramban SSP. Contact the tourists and obtained information. All Gujarati tourists are safe. Arrangements are being made for tourists including meals.
On the other hand, Gujarat Police Central I.B. Including Jammu and Kashmir in constant contact with the administration. The Gujarat government and the police have immediately ensured the safety of the tourists of Gujarat while in contact with the Jammu and Kashmir administration.
The collector of Banaskantha has personally spoken to the collector of Ramban as well as a young man named Ketan, one of the passengers on the bus. The district administration is leaving for Ramban’s team to help rescue operations. All passengers are safe due to bad weather. Currently, they will be moved to a safe house for night shelter. In the morning, the district administration will try to move the bus to Banihal.
It is worth mentioning that all the trapped people were returning from Srinagar to the bus at the time of the way. This situation has been created as a cloud suddenly erupted in Jammu. There was a huge flood flow with clay debris from the high mountains. Due to this, the roads of here have been severely damaged.
