A BC teacher has been charged with Child Pornography.
In a statement from the School District 62, he says he was informed on February 5 that Gills Borland has been accused.
He has been operating by the district since 2016, the organization confirmed, with his latest roles as a music teacher in the David Cameron Elementary and before, at the Wishert Elementary.

“Due to unrelated circumstances, Mr. Borland is not in the classroom during the school year 2024-2025,” the district said.
After learning about Borland’s allegations, Super. Paul Block suspended him immediately. Borland is not authorized to practice under the Teacher Regulation Branch while the matter is under review.
