Farmer Ghanshyamabhai Patel has achieved a production of 15 lakhs annually through horticulture, paddy and natural farming in 27 Vigha land. Farmer does cows based farming. Net House has been prepared with government assistance as well.
Ahmedabad: Ghanshyamabhai Patel, a progressive farmer of Miroli village in Dasroi taluka of Ahmedabad district, has set an example by adopting new methods in agriculture. In 27 Vigha land, they cultivate natural farming through horticulture, paddy, vegetables and gir cows, making their annual production from 10 to 15 lakhs. Ghanshyamabhai Patel, who has completed his studies till B.Com, has been giving full time in the field of agriculture for many years and has been using the latest technology in agriculture. He has accepted agriculture not only as a business, but also as a means of innovation.
Ghanshyamabhai Patel states that his farm has a total of 27 Vigha land. In the monsoon they cultivate paddy and wheat in winter. In 8 Vigha area they do special horticulture, with fruits such as lemon, chiku, mango, coconut and coconut. There are currently more than 400 lemon plants in their farm, which gives them abundant production and income. Apart from lemon, other fruit trees are also rich, so that the production continues throughout the year. He has also built a net house, mainly raised.

Ghanshyamabhai says, “With the help of a horticulture account, a net house has been built. This net house has proven to be a good source of income, from where they have also opened a new way for employment. Ghanshyamabhai Patel is also the leader in natural farming. They have six large and three small gir cows, which are used for sale in addition to personal consumption of milk and ghee. They sell ghee at Rs 2700 per kg.
They prepare livestock and solid livelihoods using cow dung and urine, on which they cultivate fruitful cultivation without the use of any chemical fertilizer. Each of their cows costs Rs 90,000 to Rs 1,10,000. Ghanshyamabhai Patel is an inspiring personality. Ghanshyamabhai, who inspires the entire district, has made farming profitable by widespread use of natural resources.
