EPFO: The EPFO (Employee Provident Fund Organization) has claimed to settle 50% of claims in just three days. From the beginning of the financial year 2025-26, it has achieved an important achievement by stating about 68.96 lakh claims in about three days. The figure is from April 1 to June 5, 2025. According to a senior EPFO official, it is about 50% of the total claims.
Dealed with only 39% claims in 2024-25
During the last financial year 2024-25, the proportion of claims settled in three days was only 39%, which was about 2.34 million claims. This is quite less than this year, which is clear that EPFO performance has increased.
The process will increase by increasing the limit of automatic claim
According to the official, the EPFO is now offered by the current Rs. Will increase from 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. This requires no additional approval. The Central Provident Fund Commissioner can approve this change.
Fine related to illness, education and marriage. Will be fast
Currently, claims up to Rs 1 lakh, such as disease, education, housing and marriage cases, are automatically settled in three days in case of merit. With the implementation of a limit of Rs 5 lakh, more cases will benefit.
Aim to settle all claims in 72 hours
The ultimate goal of the EPFO is that all claims such as pension, insurance and EPF withdrawal can be settled within 72 hours. For this, technical upgrades and processes are being worked on Optim Ptimization.

More than 7 million members will benefit
Currently, EPFO has more than 7 million active contributions. After the new update, all of these members will have experience of fast, transparent and reliable service, which will increase both EPFO efficiency and reliability.
