A fierce fire broke out on the set of Popular TV show Anupama in Mumbai Film City at 5 am this morning. The shooting of the show was scheduled to begin at 7 am, whose preparations were going on. Many crew members were present on the set, when the fire broke out. The fire department has controlled the fire by hard work. Now in this accident, the All India Cine Workers Association has demanded strict investigation.
Anupama’s set has been completely burnt to ashes due to the fire. Due to this, there has been some damage from the flames on the set of some other TV shows. The shooting of the show has been stopped for some time after this accident.
In this case, Suresh Shyamlal Gupta, President of All India Cine Workers, wrote a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis demanding an order of high-level Inquiry Judicial Inquiry. He has also demanded suspension of the managing director and labor commissioner of Film City and his suspension.
He says that due to the negligence and irresponsible step of the producer, such accidents have become common on the set, which is in danger of many workers.
The Cine Workers Association has also spoken of filing a complaint against the producer, production house, television channel, Film City Managing Director and Labor Commissioner. So that it can be clear that this kind of accidents are not being carried out for this insurance claim and financial benefits.
Producers who are negligent on shooting set will be Blacklist
Suresh Shyamlal Gupta has also said in his statement that there should be a fire audit on all the shooting sets in Maharashtra. If during this time the negligence of the producers and the Film City Athority is revealed, they will be blackened from the industry.
