After the completion of the 3-match ODI series between India and Australia, both the teams will now play a 5-match T20I series starting from October 29, the first match of which will be played at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. If he manages to complete the 1,000-run mark in the next 3 innings, he will become the Indian player to reach the feat in the shortest T20I innings. The record is currently held by Virat Kohli, who has completed 1,000 T20I runs in 27 innings.
