Canadian officials say a plane crash took place at Toronto Pearson Airport on Monday afternoon.
The plane crash, which included a delta flight from Minipolis to Toronto, was first reported by CTV. Park regional police say it is investigating the number of potential injuries, which is now unknown.
Pictures of social media show the aircraft down the air on the runway covered with snow. Toronto Piers confirmed the crash on the X.
“Toronto is aware of the incident on the landing of Delta Airlines arriving from Pearson Minnipolis,” writes in the airport post. “Emergency teams are responding.”
The airport added that all passengers and crews of the aircraft are “accounted for.”
Officials are actively investigating the scene.
