Rishabh Shetty’s film ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ has another major accident. Mimicry artist and actor Kalabhavan Niju died of a heart attack. This tragic incident occurred during the shooting of the film, after which there was mourning and silence on the set.
Mimicry artist Kannan Sagar has confirmed the death of Kalabhavan Niju. Said that he had received information about this in a WhatsApp group at 10:30 pm on Thursday. According to Hindustan Times, Kalabhavan Niju died in Bengaluru on Thursday night, where he was shooting for ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’. 43 -year -old Niju complained of chest pain, after which he was immediately rushed to the hospital. But doctors declared him dead. Niju recently appeared in the film Marco.
Three deaths have happened on set in a year
Let me tell you, this is not the first time an accident has happened on the set of Kantara 2. Earlier on May 6, Junior Artist MF Kapil of the film Kantara 2 died of drowning in the river. His body was found floating in the river. It was being told that Kapil went to swim in the lunch break between Kantara-2 shooting, where he died of strong current. As soon as the news came out, the film Federation demanded strict action on the makers and the matter.
Apart from this, while returning from the shooting location some time ago, a bus carrying junior artists was overturned and the set was also damaged due to strong thunderstorms. Kantara 2 is the second part of the Kantara series. The first part of Kantara came in the year 2022 and it earned tremendous at the box office. Kantara 2 is the prequel of this series.
