Athiya Shetty will no longer appear in films. The actress has opted out of Bollywood. In an interview recently, father Sunil Shetty has revealed that his daughter has decided to say goodbye to the acting world. Sunil said that Athiya has admitted that he is not interested in films and has decided to move away from films.
In an interview to Zoom, Sunil says- ‘She told me one day, Baba, I do not want to do films and she just went away.’ I salute him for the fact that he said he is not interested in films. After the film Motichur, she appeared very good projects but she did not want to do it.
Sunil appreciated the daughter and said that at this time she wants to focus on the most important role of her life i.e. Motherhood. today he has got the Best role of his life. She is working in the Best film, and this is life. She is in the role of a mother and she is very fond of it.
Athiya started her career with Nikhil Advani’s romantic action film ‘Hero’ in 2015, produced by Salman Khan. Two years later, she appeared in Anees Bazmee’s romantic comedy Mubarakan, including Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Ileana Dikruz. He was last seen in the film ‘Motichur’ in 2019 with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Since then Athiya is in discussion about her personal life. The actress married cricketer KL Rahul in 2023. On March 24 this year, the couple welcomed their daughter Iwara.
