Ahmedabad: A serious incident of a fatal attack on a Gujarat High Court lawyer in Danilimda area of the city with a sword and a knife has occurred. High Court lawyer Abdul Pathan was with his friend. Meanwhile, the mob attacked him fatally with a sword and a Chinese knife. Police have launched an investigation after lodging a complaint against six people at Danilimda police station.
According to the information received, Abdul Pathan, who lives with his family at the Edward Bagh Society near Calico Mill at Behrampura, has been practicing advocacy in the Gujarat High Court for the last five years. Who went to his daughter’s school on June 21, 2025. Meanwhile, his neighboring friend Imtiaz called that the wall of his house was demolished by the men of Abdul Razzaq with a JCB machine.
Upon hearing this, Abdul Pathan immediately arrived at the friend’s house, where he saw a part of the wall in a broken condition. After the incident, lawyer Abdul Pathan made a video of a broken wall from his mobile and was leaving the society with friend Imtiaz. Meanwhile, Abdul Razzaq and his colleagues stopped him and started quarreling with him for making videos.
In addition, the accused also threatened the lawyer, “If you come to our compound a second time, we will kill him.” After such a brawl, one of the accused attacked Abdul Pathan’s head with a sword and Chinese knife, causing him to fall on the ground in a bloody state. The incident took place and the people gathered and calm the dispute and shifted the injured Abdul Pathan to the hospital for immediate treatment.
However, after treatment, lawyer Abdul Pathan filed a complaint against Shafwan Pathan, Ahsan, Fozan, Hasan, Azaz and Mohammed at the Danilimda police station. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and have launched a further investigation to arrest the accused.
