Ahmedabad: Inayat Hussein Sheikh, who served as a divisional fire officer in the Municipal Fire Department, was caught in the ACB trap. Inayat Sheikh has been ordered to be suspended by AMC, who has taken a bribe of Rs 65,000 with the applicant. The fire officer was arrested by the ACB at Prahladnagar Fire Station. The ACB has filed a case and has taken further action.
Despite being an officer of the Class-II Divisional Fire Officer in the AMC Fire Department, there has been an act of misconduct by the AMC’s public servant. As well as abusing the post as a state servant, the crime of AMC has been harmed by the crime. So the AMC has ordered the inaugural Sheikh to be postponed with immediate effect. This order will remain in force until another order is made.
It is noteworthy that seven fire officers were terminated by the AMC Commissioner on the issue of bogus sponsorship. Of the seven, in -laws are also included. All the fire officers, including Inayat Sheikh, knocked on the gates of the High Court and the termination was canceled from the High Court. Inayat Sheikh has also served in other metropolitan municipalities.

The complainant kept the consulting work to get a building fire NOC. In the building, the documents required to obtain the fire NOC have been prepared and sent to the accused’s office. The complainant accused of not getting the fire NOC for approximately three months demanded a bribe of Rs 80,000 to give fire NOC at their office. But the complainant did not give the bribe money. After which the complainant received the fire NOC. Nevertheless, the Inayat Sheikh threatened to call the complainant that if the transaction was not done in the future, there was an implied threat that not a single files would be approved and at that time a bribe of Rs 15,000 was taken. Also, the remaining Rs 65,000 was frequently demanded. The accused, who set up a trap by the ACB, took the bribe to the accused.
