Two accused have been arrested by Crime Branch in Ahmedabad in a drug case. The accused also included a woman in which both the accused came from Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh to supply MD drugs in Ahmedabad. 52 lakh MD drugs have been recovered from these accused.
Ahmedabad: Crimebranch has once again exposed the black business of drugs. A woman and a man from the Express Highway have been speeded up with a quantity of MD drugs worth Rs 52 lakh. The accused came from Madhya Pradesh with a quantity of drugs. And here a young man was to give a quantity. However, Crime Branch has speeded up both on the basis of intelligence. The names of the accused have been reported to be Ajay Prajapati and Anandi asphalt. Both are reportedly a resident of Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh.
The accused had received information from the Ahmedabad Crime Branch that the accused was standing near the bus stand of AMTS near the entrance to Ahmedabad Express Highway with a quantity of drugs from Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. On the basis of which the Crime Branch has raided both of them. It has been alleged to have been given to a young man named Shah Rukh for the amount of these drugs. The quantity of these drugs was given to the accused by a man named Kalu, who lives in Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. The accused named Kalu used to deliver drugs near the express highway by sending them to the train from Mandsaur to Vadodara through different persons and to Vadodara to Ahmedabad private vehicle.
Police seized 525 grams of MD drugs worth Rs 52 lakh 50 thousand from these two accused. Kalu reached the express highway and asked Shah Rukh to call and deliver. In return, they got Rs 5,000 per one trip. The accused has been interrogated that the accused have once previously supplied drugs. Further investigations have been launched by the Crime Branch on the amount and when the amount was given. The woman used to keep the woman together for not suspecting the drug trafficking. Both arrested accused run a fruit lorry in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. So that both were in touch. However, due to the economic need, black has been smuggled by drugs by giving them both money.
It is worth mentioning that the police have recently launched an inquiry into the two accused and have launched a proposal to arrest other absconding accused Kalu and Shah Rukh. However, only after the police investigation will the fact be against how many times the accused have delivered drugs. The Crime Branch has also launched a further investigation into whether the accused has any criminal history.
