America: Mass firing in New Mexico, 3 killed in firing in park, 15 wounded

A firing has caused a riot in a park in Las Cruses, New Mexico, USA. At least 3 people were killed and 15 were injured in the incident. According to police, the incident took place at Young Park around 10pm on Friday night, which is a place of music and entertainment. Police have recently launched an investigation into the matter. Police have appealed to the common people to share videos and other evidence of the incident.

Police are searching for the attackers after the incident. All the injured in the firing have been admitted to three local hospitals of Las Crusace and El Paso’s University Medical Center (Regional Trauma Center), where they are being treated. According to Memorial Medical Center spokesman Andrew Cummins, six of the injured were brought to the Memorial Medical Center of Las Crusace by ambulance and private car, five of which were taken to El Paso.

The city councilor lamented

Las Crusse City Councilor and Mayor Pro Tam Johanna Bancomo lamented the incident. He shared a post on social media in which he wrote, ‘I never thought that such events would happen in our city. But now this scary truth has become. Such tragedies are likely to occur at every moment, and we pray that it does not happen.

Police started investigating the incident

Las Crusess Police along with the New Mexico State Police, Donna Ana County Sheriff’s Office, FBI and ATF agency are investigating the incident. Police are present at the scene and the area around the park has been closed. Along with this, the police have appealed to the people to contact the police immediately if they have any information regarding the incident.

Banned in the area around the park

Las Crusace police said in a statement posted on Facebook that the police officers reached the spot immediately after receiving news of the shootings in Young Park and started investigating the incident. Meanwhile, the area around the park has been closed for transport. The city of Las Crusace is located on the edge of the Chihuahuan desert and near the Rio Grande River. It is about 66 km north of the US-Mexico border.
