Speaking to News 18 Gujarati, Mayor of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Pratibhaban Jane said, “Shri Bhadrakali Mataji has been blessed with Ahmedabad city. Millions of people are the center of faith. For the first time after 614 years, a historic township has been organized. At 8am on the morning of February 26, 2025, a grand town will depart from Shri Bhadrakali Mataji Temple. ”

In the Nagar Yatra, three gates from the temple, the tomb of Guru Manekanath, Danaapith, Khamasa, Jamalpur Padthia, Jagannath Temple will reach Nij Temple. A grand welcome will be held at different places in the Nagar Yatra route. Mataji’s footwear will be placed in the chariot. After returning to the temple on the route, Havan will be done. Millions of people are likely to join the tour.

Shashikant Tiwari, a member of the Trustee Board of Shri Bhadrakali Mataji, spoke to News 18 Gujarati, “The pilgrimage of Nagardevi should be left. The statue of Mataji is steady. That is why we will take Mataji’s footwear and leave on a trip to the town. This is Karnavati town and requested to be known as Karnavati Nagar. The Nagar Yatra will depart from the temple. Aarti will also be held on the banks of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Jagannath Temple, Haveli and Sabarmati River. Aarti will also be unloaded at the temple of Lakshmimata. The invitation of the town has been invited from the Prime Minister to all. ”
