The politics of the state has been heated before Viswadar and Kadi’s by -elections were announced. Congress President Shaktisinh Gohil announced a single -handed contest in the by -election. He thus eroded the coalition with the Aam Aadmi Party. Indirectly, Shakti Singh pointed out that despite the religion of the coalition, the Aam Aadmi Party had already declared a candidate in Viswadar.
