The Ranji Trophy is being organized. Where KL Rahul will be seen playing for the Karnataka team. Meanwhile, a big update has come up with KL Rahul. Karnataka coach Year Gaud hopes that Indian batsman KL Rahul will bat third in the upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Haryana.

Rahul, who is an international cricketer, recently opened with Yashwashi Jaiswal during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. However, when Rohit Sharma returned to the team during the fourth Test in Melbourne, Rahul had a chance to bat at third. After this, Rahul once again came to the opening due to the absence of Rohit in the Sydney Test.

KL Rahul can open on England tour

Rahul’s batting order in the Indian Test team is still a matter of some confusion. If Rohit Sharma is selected for the England series, Rahul may have to bat at number six, as Shubhman Gill is expected to be included in the playing eleven. However, if Rohit is not selected, Rahul is likely to open again. Despite all this, coach Gaur believes that Rahul will bat third in the upcoming Ranji Trophy matches, though his batting sequence may change based on the situation at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Coach Gaur said that Rahul brings a lot of experience and has proved to be very valuable for the team in all aspects of the game. We will evaluate the conditions and determine the batting order accordingly. But at present Rahul is likely to bat at third.
