Kirari seat is dominated by Biharis
Kirari assembly seat, another popular seat in Delhi, has a good influence of Bihari voters. This is the reason why only Bihari candidates have won elections in the last four elections. Anil Jha of BJP won the election from this seat in 2008. Anil Jha is originally from Madhubani district of Bihar. He was MLA from this seat consecutively in 2008 and 2013. After this, in the year 2015, the Aam Aadmi Party won here for the first time. Rituraj Govind won here. Rituraj is also from Bihar. This time Aam Aadmi Party has approved the name of former BJP MLA Anil Jha in place of Rituraj. It is being speculated that BJP may bet on Rituraj this time. In this seat Purvanchali voters are around 40%.
