On March 11, the banned Baloch separatist organization hijacked the Jafar Express going to Peshawar in Bolan district under the Dar-e-Bolan operation. There were more than 400 passengers aboard the train. Terrorists hosted many passengers hostage and created an atmosphere of fear throughout the area. After this, Pakistani security forces started the operation and killed all the terrorists. However, by then 21 innocent passengers lost their lives. It has been 9 days since the incident.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani government made many such decisions, which is being said that it is looking helpless against BLA. In this regard, the Pakistani government has stopped rail service across Balochistan. Such a step has been taken due to the lack of approval of the railway security and intelligence agencies. The operation of the cinema hall was also banned in Pakistan earlier.

24 lakh per day to Pakistan

According to sources, the Pakistan Railway has not yet dared to resume train services. Railways are still waiting for the approval of security agencies, without which they cannot even book a ticket. As a result, the railway is losing 2.4 million Pakistani rupees a day. This is the second major economic blow to Pakistan, which is already facing an economic crisis.

Eid Special Trains Announcement

On the one hand, trains are closed in Balochistan and on the other hand, the Pakistan Railway has announced the running of five special trains for the convenience of passengers on Eid. The first Eid Special Train will depart from Karachi to Lahore on March 26. The second train will run from Quetta to Peshawar on March 26. The third train will depart from Lahore for Karachi on March 27. The fourth train will run from Karachi to Rawalpindi to Faisalabad and Sargodha on March 27. The fifth train will travel from Karachi to Faisalabad and Sheikhupura to Lahore. Although railway services are closed in Balochistan, the announcement of special trains in view of Eid clearly shows that the Pakistan government is trying to show normality in the rest of the field. But the government’s silence on Balochistan’s position is sufficient to show that it himself is feeling helpless for the terrorists.
