After recovering, he returned to the field and led his team to victory.

Tushar Deshpande, who took four wickets in this match, was playing a Ranji Trophy match after almost 18 months. During this match, he fainted for 10 seconds due to bronchitis. IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals revealed the incident. Due to low oxygen levels, Deshpande had trouble breathing during the warm-up on the first day of the match. Because of this, he had to be taken to the hospital. After treatment there, Deshpande decided to play the match.
