The blast that took place in the national capital on Monday evening has created an atmosphere of fear throughout the country. 8 people were killed, while 47 people were injured in the bomb blast near Gate No-1 of Lal Qilla Metro Station. This heartbreaking incident has sent a wave of grief across the sports world. Indian team head coach Gautam Gambhir has expressed grief over the loss of life in the incident and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

After the explosion, the people who witnessed the incident with their eyes were also scared. They say that the blast was so strong that the surrounding houses were shaken and the windows of the nearby shops were shattered. There was chaos in the place. Before they could realize it, the car and the cars parked near it were engulfed in flames. The people in the vicinity immediately informed the police and fire department, after which the relief work was started.
