Calgary police have closed the Northbound Dirfoot Trail between the Memorial Drive and 16 Avenue Northeast following a fatal tragedy on Tuesday morning.
The EMS said the tragedy took place at 9:30 am and a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Immediately after the crash, the people arrived at the scene told Global News that it seemed that the vehicle was turned below the 8th Avenue flyover before resting on the roof.
It also seems that the victim may be out of the vehicle.
The tragedy took place under the 8th Avenue Flyover and Calgary Police were asked to close the northbound lane on the debret trail.

Long traffic was delayed as a result of the crash and closure, which was asked by the police to hit the vehicles on the memorial drive.
Police also took drivers on social media asking drivers to avoid the area or find an alternative route.
The fatal tragedy happened immediately at 9:30 am and asked the Calgary police to close the north -bound derfoot trail.

There is no word yet on what is the cause of the crash but the Calgary Police Service Traffic Reconstruction Unit was called for investigation.
