Jharkhand High Court: Ranchi, Rana PratapIn the Jharkhand High Court Judge Rangan Mukhopadhyay’s court, a partial hearing was held in the tender commission scam by former minister Almagir Alam and his emergency secretary Sanjeev Kumar Lal. The court separated itself from the hearing on bail requests and said that with the permission of the Chief Justice, these cases should be removed from their list and placed before any other bench.
The bail application has been rejected in the lower court
Former Jharkhand Minister Alamgir Alam and his emergency secretary Sanjeev Kumar Lal rejected the bail application in the lower court. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided other places including Sanjeev Kumar Lal, then Minister Alamgir Alam and his servant Jahangir Alam on charges of money laundering operations in the tender for the plans of the Rural Development Department.

On May 15, AD arrested Alamgir Alam
During the raid, the EDA received Rs. The complete details of 32 crore and the full details of the money received from the residence of Sanjeev Lal as a commission in the development schemes in the computer and diary were obtained. After the arrest, Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam’s PS (Emergency Secretary) Sanjeev Lal was suspended. Recently, he was arrested by the ED in case of cash recovery. After this, the ED called the then Jharkhand Alamgir Alam for questioning. He was arrested by ED on May 15, 2024.
