Four strategically trained “band Deads” quick actions helped prevent a major tragedy after taking down an active shooter firing at a band competition at a high school in Texas.
The Pasadena police department confirmed that the 83 -year -old Dennis Brandel was accused of being attacked with a deadly weapon after allegedly firing at a local high school band competition.
Around 6pm on Sunday, the police said with the Independent School District and the Angelton Independent School District in Pacade, that an old man known as Brandel entered the entrance to the ITOR Detorium after the drum line competition. Officials said he was taking the handgun and fired him.
According to Angelton ISD, he hit a door and another hit a 26 -year -old man in a shoulder.

The district said that the victim was a percussion technical consultant for the Angleton High School and was taken to Houston Hospital, where he never lost consciousness and expects a full recovery.

Pasadena police wrote in a statement on their Facebook page, “We are grateful to brave citizens and officials who were at the scene of security in the game and boldly proceeded to detain the shooter and prevent any possible violence.”
The Houston Police Department praised Sanchez and thanked him for this unwanted selfish act.
