The teachers have written to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and sought seven days on-duty leave to go to Mahakumbh. The letter has also been sent to Education Minister Kuber Dindor. The Kumbh Mela held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh is a triveni confluence of monks, culture and society in the unique culture of Hinduism. This Kumbh Mela is held every twelve years. Held every three years at a different location such as Haridwar, Prayagraj, Ujjain and Nashik. This year the Kumbh Mela is going on in Prayagraj and every day crores of people are taking a dip of faith taking advantage of this fair to bathe in the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati. Then the primary school teachers of the state are now eager to go to the Kumbh Mela. A letter has been written to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel by Gujarat State Town Primary Teachers Union. In which Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has been presented to give leave to teachers to go to Mahakumbh.

The teachers are demanding that they be given seven days on-duty leave to go to Mahakumbh. They have also said that when such an opportunity comes once in 144 years, crores of people go there and strengthen Sanatan Dharma. It has been demanded that the teachers should also benefit from it. This Mahakumbh is scheduled to last for 24 days from January 13. Which will be repeated in the future now after 144 years. It belongs to the current generation which will not come again until future generations. Crores of people will go to this Mahakumbh Mela and bathe in nectar and build the Bhatu of Punya and strengthen the spirit of Sanatan Dharma. Then, if seven days on-duty leave is given to the teachers brothers and sisters of our state to benefit from this, then the teachers of the state can also take advantage of this unique and other Mahakumbha and make merit. A copy of the letter has also been sent by the teachers to Education Minister Kuber Dindor and State Education Minister Prafulla Panaseria.
