Goldsmith’s injury was delayed and then suspended. The Western Hockey League said the game would “be rearranged at a later date.”
Thunderbirds had a 2-0 lead at the time of suspension.

“Collectively, it was decided to postpone the game for the emotional state of the players on both Thunderbirds and Americans, as well as the well -being of Terrell Goldsmith.”
“It will be scheduled again at a later date, though that conversation has not yet been done because we continue to give priority to Terrell’s well -being.”
