Sattvik food importance

Ayurveda says that eating “sattvik” in fasting should be avoided and “Tamasi” or “royal” food. Fasting means that the body gets simple, digestive and holy food. You can use this diet as a food alternative to the month of hearing or eleventh fasting every month.

In the days of fasting, consuming this diet

Fruits and Vegetables:Potatoes, sweet potatoes, sores, alcohol. Bananas, apples, papaya, grapes, lap, nutmeg, and lemon (limited quantities). Faral sweets are sold in the market today. In the market, there is a biscuit, biscuits, finger pizza. In addition, you can consume butter and peanuts as well as sesame dishes these days.

Certain type of grain:A certain type of cereals are used in these days. You can make various dishes from foods like Samo (Moraiyo), Retua flour (cheese flour), Rajgara, soap. The flours that are being prepared from this cereal are also now available in the market. From this flour you can make a dish like Bhakhari, Parotha or Pura.

Dairy Product: You can take dairy products like milk, yogurt, rice, lassi, cheese (limited) to eat on fasting days. Penda, snow and pudding dishes prepared from this dairy product can be eaten on fasting days. The intake of cereals and dairy products will provide energy to the body on special days of fasting.

Dryfruit Use:Consuming fixed foods in the diet during fasting days can lead to weakness in the body. You can then consume dried fruit such as nuts, walnuts, cashews, pistachios and palm to sustain the energy of the body. Make palm milk and add another dried fruit to it and make only 1 glass of shake and consume it. In addition you can also make palm snow.
