The case filed against the film Jolly LLB-3 in Ajmer has been rejected by the High Court. The court of Justice Ashok Jain, while ordering, said- no claim can follow the apprehensions. The film is still under construction, so to say that the image of judges and lawyers in the film is tarnished

The court said- The content of the film cannot be publicized before release under the Cinematography Act-1952. If there is an objection to any scene of the film, then there is a provision of complaint and appeal in the censor board against it.

Actually, Chandrabhan Rathore, president of Ajmer District Bar Association, filed a case against the film. He had said that efforts are being made to tarnish the image of judges and lawyers from the film. Earlier too, the image of the judiciary was tarnished in two parts of this film. In such a situation, the shooting of the film should be banned.

Actor Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi and film director Subhash Kapoor filed a revision petition against it.

Court does not have the right to investigate before the censor board Arguing on behalf of Akshay Kumar and others in the High Court, Senior Advocate RK Aggarwal said- The Censor Board has the right to investigate the scenes of the film. If anyone has objections to the film certified film from the censor board, then there is a provision of revision and appeal in the Cinematography Act.

He said- It is not right to stop shooting of a film and to investigate a film by merely. In such a situation, the claim filed in Ajmer court should be rejected.

At the same time, it was said by the Bar Association that we are talking about the dignity of the judiciary. The image of the judiciary was tarnished in the last 2 parts of this film. Therefore, our demand is that a committee of judges and lawyers should be constituted and given the scenes and other information of this film to them.

Shooting was done in Ajmer DRM office Advocates of the case Adhiraj Modi and Aditya Chaudhary said- The film was shot from 25 April to 10 May 2024 at Ajmer DRM office. The claim was also wrongly justified in the government building. But it was said by the filmmakers that we have taken approval by adopting the entire process for film shooting. In lieu of this, the railway has also paid about 25 lakh rupees.
