If the cost bill had not been passed by Friday’s deadline, the government would have entered a partial shutdown. President Donald Trump confirmed the bill and requested the legislators to pass it.

“The Republican attack on the economy, healthcare, social security net and retired soldiers, is necessary to work together in the coming weeks and months,” he said in a statement. “Donald Trump’s superficial efforts will not succeed in vague and naked ways to split us.”

On Friday, the Senate vote came after a procedural vote to pass a six -month resolution, in which Senate minority leader Chak Shumer, DNY. Adequate Democrats, including the Republican, helped remove the Philibster and move on with the stopgap cost bill.
After helping the Senator Republican supported the law, Jeffrees has refused to answer questions as to whether the Shumer believes.
