Meanwhile, many Pakistani artists and actresses have recently entered Bollywood. Fawad Khan has made a comeback with Wani Kapoor from the film ‘Abir Gulal’. It is a romantic film, which was released a week before its release. After the trailer introduction, leaders along with people also sought to ban it.
‘The actor works for everyone around the world’
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Sunny Deol was asked if Pakistani artists should return to Bollywood or not. In response, Sunny Deol supported him and said, ‘He will not go to political. We are an actor, we work for everyone around the world. Whether someone is looking at us or not, it’s for all of us. Therefore, there is no such thing. As much as the world has become, we should have the most relationships and let the countries keep.
Abir Gulal will not be released in Maharashtra
I will tell you that, in 2016, Pulwama Atakh, Pakistani artists were banned. But in 2023, the Bombay High Court officially rejected the proposal to ban those artists. Fawad Khan has worked before Sundar, Dil Hai Mushil and the film ‘Abir Gulal’ in Kapoor and Sons. After the release of the teaser of the film Abir Gulal, while talking to Danic Bhaskar, MNS spokesman Amia Khopkar said that he would not allow the film to be released in Maharashtra. Apart from this, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam said, “There is a lot of hatred for Pakistan in India.”
