The new schedule of IPL 2025 has been announced. The 18th season of the Indian Premier League will resume on May 17. The final match will now be played on June 3 instead of May 25. All the remaining matches will be played on six plains.
After the announcement of the new schedule, there has been bad news from England for three big IPL teams. The England Cricket Board has increased the problems of RCB, Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans. The ECB’s decision could ruin the fun of the IPL playoffs. Let me tell you how and why.
Difficulty for 3 teams!
England have announced the team for the ODI and T20 series against the West Indies. The ODI Series starts on May 29. Jacob Bethel, Jose Butler and Will Jacks have been included in the team selected by the England Cricket Board for ODI.
Jacob Bethel plays for RCB in IPL. Bethel’s performance for the RCB has been excellent. The tickets in the RCB playoff are almost confirmed. But Jacob Bethel will not be able to play for the RCB.
The England Cricket Board has raised problems of these teams
Jose Butler has been included in both England teams. Butler is part of the Gujarat Titans team in IPL 2025. This season has been wonderful for Butler. He has scored more than 500 runs. Now Butler will play for England, so Gujarat will not be able to avail its facilities at the playoffs. Will Jacques is part of the Mumbai Indians and if the mi reaches the playoffs, the Jacques will not be seen playing for the team. This means that the England Cricket Board has inadvertently increased the problems of these three teams.
