Jaideep Ahlawat recently told in a conversation with ‘The Lalantop’ that he had the role of Vibhishan in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, but the shooting dates were not matched with his schedule, due to which he left the film.

Jdeep said, I had Vibhishan’s role offer in the film. According to the story of the film, there were many important scenes between me and Ravana, who had to shoot together. But the shooting dates between me and Ravana playing the role of the shooting were not matching. That is why I had to leave the film.

Shooting of the film has started

Let me tell you, shooting of the film Ramayana has started. Recently, the first picture of Yash was also revealed from the set, in which he was seen in a tremendous action mood. It is clear from his look that he is bringing a new style as Ravana.

Yash is not only acting in this film, but he is also a co-producer. Apart from this, the film’s co-producer is named Malhotra, who wants to bring ‘Ramayana’ to the global level. The film is directed by Nitesh Tiwari, who has directed films like ‘Dangal’ and ‘Chichore’.

The first part of ‘Ramayana’ will be released on Diwali 2026 and the second part Diwali 2027. It is being constructed jointly by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studio and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.
