The former Bill Clinton adviser went on to call Biden “one of the saddest stories in American politics in my lifetime,” but the future role he plays in the future will be negative.

Carville has been a fierce critic of Biden for failing to drop out of the race sooner, and has even suggested that it would have helped Democrats win the election if he had.
“But the scenario would be different, if he had — in September or August of 2023 — said he wasn’t going to run … we would have won this election,” Carville said last month. “And it wouldn’t have been that close, because we had so many freakishly talented guys running.”
