Jasmine Bhasin is in discussion about the film ‘Badnaam’ these days. Jai Randhawa is also in the lead role in this film. The film will be released on 28 February. Both spoke to Dainik Bhaskar. During this, Jasmine told that she wants to play such a character to inspire other girls. At the same time, Jai Randhawa spoke about the importance of writing of the film. Here is some special part of the conversation with both ..

How is your character in the film?
Jasmine– My character’s name is Noor and in the life of Noor Badshah she is the chapter, she hates what she is identified. So in the film you will see his duality and struggle.
Which film would you like to watch again?
Jasmine- My grandparents like to watch many movies in my house. The new favorite film of my grandfather was ‘Veer Zara’, which my grandfather saw two or three times with my grandmother. So she was that kind of dye-hit romantic and once I also went to see the film. So all those memories make me very emotional. It seems to me that I go to ‘Veer Zara’ and see them alone in the theater and I should imagine them with me.

How was your journey, which is the character you want to play?
Jasmine- My journey has been the same as everyone belongs to, ups and downs, good-bad, failure and achievement, everything. A character I want to play, I cannot take the name of a particular character or a human being, but I definitely want to play a role where I can inspire other girls. I want to tell them that girls are often seen as ‘poor’ in small towns and I want to change that ‘poor’ mindset.
Hindi films are not able to perform like that, how do you watch it?
Jasmine- I would say that this is a peak, which has been achieved, because the entertainment industry is running like a bicycle. I think I have missed the habit of going to the cinema hall after Kovid. Earlier there was a part of our life and now it is no longer a habit. Somewhere the makers have missed the connection with the audience and somewhere the audience is also changing, their choice and choice is changing. Now people have world cinema on the phone, so I think we are just trying to catch people’s pulse how the audience will return to theaters.
This is the biggest business, when I travel, people talk about our films. People not only talk about ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum’, but also talk about ‘RRR’ and ‘Pushpa’. It has got global recognition, but somewhere he is lost and we are trying to find it again.

How much importance is written to writing?
Jai Randhawa – When we build a house, it calls it ‘foundation’ in Punjabi and if it is not good, whether it is a palace, a shop, or a small house, it falls. So the author of this film is Jassi Lokha. So the goal of bringing these people in the film was that our foundation should be strong. He has done a great job. Its script has taken almost a year, so that the film becomes strong.
