Bihar Election 2025, Bhagalpur, Anjani Kumar Kashyap: Janata Dal United has canceled the ticket of its whip and incumbent MLA Gopal Mandal from Gopalpur seat in Bhagalpur in the Bihar assembly elections. The Gopal Mandal also staged a dharna outside the CM’s residence for tickets. However, the party did not give him a ticket and fielded former MP Bulo Mandal as its candidate. Upset with not getting tickets, the Gopal Mandal filed an independent nomination on Saturday. Meanwhile he addressed the public meeting and started crying CM Nitish Kumar’s name and made Nitish Kumar happy.

During the nomination, Gopal Mandal told the supporters, “Brothers and sisters, today is our nomination day, thank you for coming with such enthusiasm. This fight is far, now I have to show. Nitish Kumar has been cheated and my ticket has been cut. If I have done anything wrong, I apologize with folded hands. I did not say that no chairperson in future has made this mistake. His eyes welled up.” He said that now the bugle has sounded and it is time for people to come to the field. In an emotional atmosphere, Gopal Mandal also reiterated his loyalty to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said from the platform, Speak with love once, Jai Nitish Kumar.

We will give seat to JDU after winning: Gopal Mandal
However, he said in his address that we will win this seat and put it back in JDU’s kitty. It is clear from this statement that Gopal Mandal does not want to openly rebel against Nitish Kumar despite adopting a rebellious stance. This time JDU has made Bulo Mandal its candidate from Gopalpur assembly seat. Annoyed by not getting a ticket, Gopal Mandal is now contesting as an independent candidate.
