Bihar Election 2025: Most of the candidates of both the major alliances contesting the Bihar assembly elections this time are millionaires. If we talk about candidates with assets above Rs 10 crore, the Grand Alliance has the highest number of such candidates with 28, while the NDA has 22 such candidates. Of these, RJD has the highest number of candidates with assets of more than Rs 10 crore. That is, 15 percent of the 141 RJD candidates have assets of more than Rs 10 crore.

In NDA Rs. BJP has the highest number of candidates with assets above Rs 10 crore at nine, while JDU has seven such candidates. The richest of the BJP candidates is Siddharth Saurabh, who is contesting from the Bikram seat in Patna district, with a net worth of Rs 42.87 crore. He is winning twice from Bikram seat on Congress ticket. He joined BJP last year. The second richest BJP candidate is Kumar Pranay of Munger, whose assets are Rs 17.78 crore.

At the same time, Dr. Barbighana, the richest candidate in JDU. Kumar Pushpanjay, whose net worth is Rs 71.57 crore. Manorama Devi is contesting from Belaganj on the second position. She owns a net worth of 45.87 crores. Of the 29 LJP candidates, four have assets worth more than Rs 10 crore. That means the percentage of such candidates in LJP is 14 and in this respect it is equal to RJD. Obra candidate Prakash Chandra is the richest in LJP with assets of Rs 31.22 crore. At the same time, among the six candidates of HAM, the only candidate from Attari is Romit Kumar, whose assets are Rs 18.42 crore. At the same time, Upendra Kushwaha’s party Raloma has no candidate with assets above Rs 10 crore. RLMO’s richest candidate is Prashant Kumar, who is contesting from Ujiarpur, with assets of Rs 9.33 crore.

RJD’s Dev Kumar Chaurasia is the richest candidate.

Among the richest RJD candidates are Hajipur’s Dev Kumar Chaurasia (67 crores), Narpatganj’s Deepak Yadav (42 crores) and Badhari candidate Arun Gupta (40.9 crores). At the same time, Congress, the other major component of the grand coalition, has three candidates with assets of more than 10 crores. Supaul candidate Minnatula Rehman tops this list with a net worth of Rs 37.19 crore. VIP and IIP each have such candidates, while Left parties have only one candidate.
