Despite being the ACC Asia Cup 2025 champions, the Indian team did not get the trophy. ACC Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has kept the trophy for himself, which the BCCI has now complained to the ACC. ACC Chief Mohsin Naqvi has now responded to BCCI’s letter.

Despite the warning, Mohsin Naqvi’s arrogance persists, imposing new conditions for awarding him the trophy. It remains to be seen how BCCI will deal with Naqvi’s arrogance.

Mohsin Naqvi placed a big bet

BCCI’s email said that if the ACC does not deliver the trophy soon, they will approach the ICC. In response to this email, Mohsin Naqvi has now stated that “several correspondence has been held with the BCCI and the ACC has informed him that they are ready to invite Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav and his players to receive the trophy at a ceremony in Dubai on November 10 along with BCCI official Rajeev Shukla.”

But it is clear that Mohsin Naqvi still wants to personally hand over the trophy, something the BCCI and the players had earlier ruled out. This shows that Mohsin Naqvi is still playing the game.

Where is the Asia Cup trophy?

The Asia Cup trophy is currently housed at the ACC office in Dubai. According to media reports, Mohsin Naqvi has issued strict orders that the trophy will not be moved from one place to another without his presence or approval.
