Zeeshan Akhtar alias Jassi Purwal, the mastermind of the NCP leader Baba Siddiqui murder case, has been arrested by the police of Canada. It is not yet clear in which case the arrest has been made.

On the night of 12 October 2024, Baba Siddiqui was shot dead outside the office of his son Zeeshan Siddiqui. The responsibility of the murder was taken by the gangster Lawrence Gang. The gang claimed that Baba Siddiqui was close to Bollywood star Salman Khan. This is why he hit him. Lawrence gang has an old enmity with Salman Khan.
Police investigation revealed that Zeeshan Akhtar, a resident of Jalandhar, is the mastermind of Siddiqui’s murder. He was present on the spot when the shooters shot Siddiqui. He fled abroad after the murder. It was then claimed that Pakistani don Shahzad Bhatti had helped him to drive him away. Recently, the Lawrence gang had threatened to kill him by shouting Zeeshan.

- Bullets were shot outside the son’s office: On 12 October 2024 at 9:30 pm, former Maharashtra government minister Baba Siddiqui was killed on the Kher Wadi signal in Bandra, Mumbai. Baba Siddiqui had come out of son Zeeshan’s office when 6 bullets were fired on him. 2 bullet hit Siddiqui’s stomach and one on a chest. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, where he was declared dead at 11.27 pm.
- Police arrested 4 youths: Police arrested Harish Kumar from Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, Gurmel Baljit Singh of Kaithal (Haryana), Dharmaraj Kashyap of Bahraich (Uttar Pradesh) and Praveen Lonkar, a resident of Pune (Maharashtra), in this case. The responsibility of murder was taken by the Lawrence gang. Baba Siddiqui was also associated with real estate business. However, he was famous for more Bollywood connections than politics and business.
- There was a courage on the spot at the time of murder: In the interrogation of the accused, the name of Zeeshan Akhtar, who lives in Jalandhar, came to light. He is wanted in 9 cases including target killing, murder, robbery. The last time Surendra Singh Kamboj, in -charge of CIA staff was arrested in Jalandhar. The police then solved 17 cases. After questioning Zeeshan, the police arrested about 20 operatives associated with the Lawrence gang. The police had recovered more than 50 weapons from them.

He confessed this in the inquiry by Punjab Police.

Pakistani don Shahzad Bhatti revealed Shahzad Bhatti, a member of Pakistan’s Don Farooq Khokhar gang, made a key disclosure by releasing a video in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai. After Zeeshan escaped abroad, a post was revealed by the Lawrence Gang in April 2024. It was written in the alleged post- “Om, Jai Shri Ram. Ram Ram, who is this Zeeshan Akhtar, we neither know it nor did it know any of our brothers. He must have been talking to him (Zeeshan) or he would know through any of our brothers.
This (Zeeshan) of this is taking advantage of our name and calling people and asking for money.
These Zeeshan Akhtar and Shehzad Bhatti are both doing anti -national activity, we will kill both of them. All the brothers are alerting that no one should talk to our brother.
