Ahmedabad: In the Khyati Hospital case, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch has arrested the director of the hospital and the absconding Karthik Patel. He was arrested from Ahmedabad airport late at night. The crime branch team has arrested him from the international airport. Karthik Patel was absconding ever since the scam came to light. In this case, many accused have been arrested in stages and the main accused in the case, Karthik Patel, was absconding.

Earlier, a look out notice was issued against Karthik. Not only that, he had also applied for anticipatory bail from abroad. But bail was not granted. According to sources, Karthik Patel first fled to Australia and then to Dubai. Now he will be kept in the custody of the crime branch like the accused. Earlier, a hearing was held on his anticipatory bail application in the Ahmedabad Rural Sessions Court. Karthik had applied for anticipatory bail through his son-in-law while sitting abroad.

Karthik Patel’s aim was to bring profit by giving pressure to all the people in the hospital. Karthik Patel used to force the marketing team to hold free camps in the chairman, director’s meeting and financial transactions in the hospital were carried out only on the instructions of Karthik Patel.

A few days ago, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch made the biggest revelation in the investigation of the Khyati Hospital case. In which information was given that 3842 operations were performed in the last three years under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana at Khyati Hospital and it was claimed that 112 patients died during the operation or subsequent treatment.
