Ahmedabad: Crimes on bribery or disproportionate property against Government Babu are registered in the Anti -Corruption Bureau, but for the first time, a crime has been registered against the head constable Vijay Mali, who has been on duty at Ranip police station.

A crime was registered at Ranip Police Station in accordance with Article 13 (1) (e) and 13 (2) of 1988 against the police personnel at Ranip police station. During the investigation in this case, Vijay Mali has been purchased in the last 20 years. In which, a flat at Subhash Bridge in Ahmedabad, a flat, in the name of wife Sheetalben, bought a private plot purchased at Godhra in 2008. He bought Honda Mastro Car in 2013 and Honda Dream Yuga in 2016, Ektiva in 2021 and Hyundai i20 car in 2019. Not only that, in the name of his wife, three Vigha farming land was purchased in Maharashtra in the year 2017, later purchased in the joint name of his and wife Sheetalben in Dhule, Valwadi, 180 square meters of residential building in Maharashtra state. While Vijay Mali invested Rs 26 lakh in the bank jointly in the bank and in the post office, his disproportionate property and investment costs were Rs 1.3 crore, out of which Rs 31.6 lakh was more than Rs 31.6 lakh. The crime was registered in accordance with Article 13, 13 (1), 13 (1) (B) of the Corruption Prevention Act. Later, the case was investigated by ACPL Division Digvijay Singh Rana, which was handed over to Vijay Malina, a house in Ahmedabad and Khambhaliya.

It is worth mentioning that the accused policeman earlier served as a head constable at several police stations in Ahmedabad. The state police chief replaced Vijay Mali at Dwarka at Dwarka by the state police chief in the wake of the incident after breaking Vijay Mali or putting it on duty in the company.
