Conservative leader Pierre Poylier has said that if he is elected, including businesses and industrial dysfunction charges, he will cancel the entire carbon price law.

To reduce emissions, Poylier has stated that his government will “expand eligibility” for clean technology and clean product tax credit.

Only Manitoba, Prince Edward Island, Yukon and Nunawoot Federal Industrial Price Systems uses the system, while all other provinces have their own Industrial Dysfunction price that uses the federal price as the least pollution charge.
