Rajat Patidar is an Indian international cricketer who represents Madhya Pradesh in local cricket and plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is the top order batsman and the off-spin bowler of the right hand. He is known for hitting big shots. Patidar has been included in the Indian Test team for the Test series against England.

Cricketer Rajat Patidar was born on June 1, 1993 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. His father’s name is Manohar Patidar, a businessman and his mother is a housewife. Rajat Patidar’s IPL Career
After the impressive performance in domestic cricket, Royal Challengers Bangalore bought Rajat Patidar for Rs 20 lakh at the IPL auction of 2021. On April 9, 2021, Patidar made a debut in the IPL against the Mumbai Indians. He scored only 71 runs in four matches in his first season. However, the RCB released it before the IPL auction of 2022. Patidar was sold in the IPL mega auction of 2022.
Later, Patidar was contracted by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 20 lakh in place of Lovnith Sisodia in the middle of the season. On May 25, 2022, in an eliminator match of the 2022 IPL, Patidar scored 112 off 54 balls and contributed significantly to his team’s victory. With this, Patidar became the first player to score a century in the IPL Playoff. It was also the fastest century jointly by any player in the playoff. He equaled Riddhiman Saha’s record for Kings XI Punjab in the 2014 IPL final.
In the 2022 season, Patidar scored 333 runs in just 8 matches with a century and two half centuries. Royal Challengers Bangalore retained it before the IPL of 2023, but did not have a chance to play in the 2023 season.
