Afghanistan star cricketer Rashid Khan’s family has collapsed. Her older brother Halim Shinwari has died. Many Afghan cricketers have also lamented this through social media.
In the first match of the TRI series on August 29, the players paid tribute to Halim Shinwari. Afghan team’s opening batsman Ibrahim Zedan lamented and said that the older brother was like a father in the house.

Earlier, Ibrahim Zedan wrote through social media, “Rashid Khan’s elder brother Haji Abdul Halim was saddened to hear the news of Halim’s death. The older brother is like a father in the family. I express my heartfelt condolences to Rashid Khan and his family.”
Former Afghan cricketer Asghar Afghan also shared the news and said “Rashid Khan’s older brother has died, I am very sad to hear this news. Allah will give him strength to him and his family in these difficult times.”

Pakistan and Afghanistan clashed against each other in the first match of the Tri -series. Earlier, the Pakistani team scored 182 runs, in response to which the entire Afghanistan team was all out for 143 runs. In fact, Rashid Khan came to play the match even after the news of his brother’s death.
