Record breaking revenue at Ahmedabad Flower Show

Ahmedabad: This time AMC Flower Show 2025 seems to have come to fruition. More than 8 lakh people have visited the flower show held on the city’s Sabarmati riverfront since January 3 till date. Due to which, a significant amount of 6 crores has come in the treasury of AMC. It is to be noted that AMC spent 15 crore rupees on the flower show.

The Ahmedabad International Flower Show organized by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has earned six crore rupees in just 12 days. Let us tell you that till now the highest number of visitors was seen on Tuesday. Because of this, AMC’s coffers are overflowing on the occasion of Uttarayan Parva. With a total of 1,01,889 people visiting the flower show, AMC’s coffers fetched Rs 86 lakh in a single day.

The flower show held on the Sabarmati riverfront created a separate record of visitors on Uttarayana day. As many as 1.32 lakh visitors thronged the riverfront road and flower show to take advantage of the 14th January holiday.

Committee Chairman Dewangbhai Dani gave an update on the day of Uttarayan and said, “Citizens who wanted to celebrate the festival of Uttarayan in a different way flocked to watch the flower show. From the morning of 14th January, the human procession started pouring in. By the evening of this day, there was a huge crowd. 1.32 lakh people were found to have watched the flower show while getting the final figures of the night. In which 86 lakhs was earned in a single day. Out of which 48 lakhs were received from cash, 12 lakhs from UPI and 26 lakhs from online.

Along with this, he said, “Pre-wedding shooting has been allowed on January 23 and 24 in the flower show. For which time will be allocated from 7 am to 9 pm and from 6 pm to 12 pm. Which will be charged 25000 and 35000 rupees respectively. A maximum of 10 people will be admitted for pre-wedding shooting.
