Bollywood actors connection with dawood ibrahim: There was a time in Bollywood when underworld don Dawood Ibrahim had a lot of dominance. Many legendary film stars and film makers used to be friends of Dawood. Recently, journalist and writer Hussain Zaidi revealed that veteran actors Dilip Kumar, Rishi Kapoor and Amjad Khan also met Dawood Ibrahim. Zaidi said that underworld don stars used to call dinner in Dubai.
In a recent interview to Pikavila, Hussain Zaidi said- ‘Dawood did not want to earn money from films, he just loved Hindi cinema. He liked all the actresses. All the film stars used to go to Dubai, Dawood hosted dinner for them. Like, Dilip Kumar, Rishi Kapoor, Amjad Khan, these people have also told about the meeting with Dawood in their interview. He has also given them expensive gifts.

Hussain Zaidi further said- ‘He was not interested in Hindi films to earn money. He just wanted to dissolve with them and wanted to appear in that company. Zaidi has previously interviewed Dawood and then he questioned him about the allegations of forced recovery from Bollywood on Dawood. Zaidi told him about him- ‘I asked him why he is targeting the industry and he told me that I love the film industry, he does not need to be afraid of me. This trend started from Abu Salem, who used to recover money from film makers.
Dawood Ibrahim had stars in contact
Zaidi further said- He knew everyone- ‘Makers, directors, stars and actresses. At that time people used to say pride about their friendship with Dawood. I will not take anyone’s name, but they used to say such things that I have just talked to my brother on the phone. It was a matter of pride to talk to Dawood. Because the police’s grip was not strong at that time, everyone was in its contact. He did not find anything wrong to stay in his contact.
Dawood used to white black money through films
Hussain Zaidi also told that Dawood Ibrahim used to pay for films. He said- ‘He did not fund films as a producer, but he used to lend money. There were not many studios at that time and the industry was not institutional. That’s why people used to take Dawood’s money and invest him in their films and thus his black money would be white. He used to lend them money and after the release of the film, he used to return it as white money.
