The attack on Saif Ali Khan has not been matched with the sample taken from the house of the fingerprint actor of Shariful Islam. Saif was attacked late on 15 January. On January 22, the Mumbai Police took fingerprint and other samples and sent it to CID’s lab for investigation.

15 January: Saif Ali Khan attacked home with knife

19 January: Police arrested one accused
