Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Saturday launched the civil service portal Crime-Criminal Tracking Network and Systems, so that common people can directly access police services. Now every citizen of Bihar can get almost all police related services online at home.

What are the benefits of starting a portal?
It is being said that once the CCTNS portal is launched, the biggest change will be that everything from filing a complaint to its progress will be visible in real-time. To which officer the case was sent, how long it took, at which level the file is stuck, every process will be recorded in the system. Regarding this, ADG Amit Lodha said, CCTNS Citizen Service Portal is an online platform, which has been developed with the objective of providing police related services to citizens through digital medium in a simple and easy manner. Through this portal developed by SC RB, Bihar, citizens can avail many services without going to the police station.
