Tell me something about the concept of this show?
This is a love story that is different from traditional melodrama. This reflects the complexity of relationships, conflicts of ideas and depth of emotions. Yuga Sinha is a person who has cheated in love and hates love, while Carrie Sharma (Ashi Singh) believes in love and luck.
The show will see the sour-sweet tip and conflict between these two opposite-minded characters. The show will also show the story of a unique family, where the complexities of relationships and the movement of life are shown lightly and humorous.
What did you do to prepare for the character of the era?
In this show, it has worked hard to play the character of ‘Yuga Sinha’. To improve this character, you have also reduced 14 kg weight. This character is quite different from my earlier ‘ideal husband’ roles. The era is a person who takes decisions from the mind, not from the heart and keeps his feelings hidden. Overall, ‘Uff… Yeh Love Hai Difficult’ is a fresh Rome-Com-Com-Kom which is a combination of romance, comedy and family drama.
Has it ever been a little difficult to handle success?
Success is not permanent, sometimes comes or sometimes. I work hard in every project, but it is in the hand of the audience and the above. If the previous show does not run, what can go on the next. This is part of life.
Despite the films, you were identified with television. How do you see it?
I did negative roles in films, but the scripts and characters who meet on TV were not found in films. For me, script means more than medium. I am lucky that I have been able to engage my fans with every medium. Whether it is a movie, ototi or television. The truth is that the kind of roles I get in television do not come in films.
I do not want to do movies just to do. I have a beautiful medium television, through which not only I can reach my audience in India, but also make attendance in every country.
You and your wife Kanchi Kaul are from the same industry, how do you do time management?
We both give each other full time. I return home as soon as I get free time from shooting. When you spend time together, there is no place for the grievances.
How much family role did the family play in making a career?
The family gets very credited. You are nothing without a family. Up and down in life keeps on coming. Pressure is never felt due to a happy family. Sitting with the family and eating food sometimes, then sometimes sat with the family and saw the picture and sometimes played cricket and football. Family is very important in life. I consider both things very important that one happy family and the other family with friends. Keep on laughing with fun, otherwise what is life! Responsibility with the family seems less and the enjoyment seems more.
Why is Kanchi Kaul away from acting. Will both of you look together?
This is their own decision. She wanted to live with them in the early years of children. Now when the children have grown a bit, they can return to work soon. If a good project came and both liked it, then they will definitely work together but there is no plan right now.
Would you like to return to production again?
I am currently busy acting. I will step into production again when you get time and get a strong script. I do not run by planning. If a good project comes, I would like to listen to it, then I do it. If I do not mind, then I sit at home and enjoy.
What was the experience to share the screen with such a young heroine?
There is a lot to learn from new artists. Ashi is very positive. His energy and hard work are wonderful. He is talented and his future is bright.
