Shubhman Gill has been captaining the Indian Test team with a tour of England and has improved his bat since then. He is performing brilliantly in the ongoing Test series in England.

He scored a century in the first two Tests of the series. Now in the fourth Test, he is batting well and is on the crease for 54 runs.

Mohammed Yusuf left behind

Shubhman Gill has become the highest scorer in the Test series in England, scoring half a century in the fourth Test against England. He has broken the record of Pakistan’s Mohammad Yusuf. Shubhman Gill has scored 664 runs in the ongoing Test series so far. Mohammad Yusuf scored 631 runs in the Test series played in England in 2006. Now Shubhman Gill has left him behind and became the first Asian batsman to score more than 650+ runs in the Test series in England.

A wonderful performance in the Test series against England

Shubhman Gill scored a century in the first match of the Test series against England. In the second Test, he was harassed by England bowlers. He scored 269 runs in the first innings and 161 in the second innings. Because of this, the Indian team was able to win the second Test by 336 runs. He definitely failed to do well in the third Test. He is now on the crease for 54 runs in the fourth Test.

The Indian team has scored 8 Test century

Shubhman Gill made a Test debut for the Indian team in 2020. He has since scored a total of 2557 runs in 36 Test matches. In the meantime he has scored 8 centuries and 7 half centuries. After Virat Kohli’s retirement, Shubhman Gill is coming to bat at number four and Team India has become an important link in the batting order of India.
