Former India captain and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly’s older brother and brother -in -law survived. Ganguly’s brother Snehashish Ganguly and his wife Arpita Puri were running a speedboat in the sea, but suddenly they suddenly drowned due to heavy waves.
The incident took place on Saturday evening near the Lighthouse. Arpita shared a video on her social media account and informed about the horrific incident. Tell her that thank God and her husband’s life survived.

In a major accident in Puri, Sourav Ganguly’s brother Snehashish and his wife Arpita survived. While the couple was enjoying a speedboat ride in Puri, a loud wave came, causing the boat overturned. Snehashish and Arpita fell into the sea and began to sink due to the boat overturned.
In the video shared by Arpita, he told her that the bravery of the lifeguard saved both of their lives. He told him that he was still in shock after the incident. Arpita said that after returning to Kolkata, she would write a letter to Puri’s SP and Odisha Chief Minister on the incident. According to the locals, Snehashish-Arpita’s speedboat lose balance completely due to a large wave and they fell into the sea.

Arpita Ganguly said that the capacity of the passengers in the boat was very low and therefore the boat was overwhelmed by the light. He told him that the boat had a capacity of about 10 people, but due to the greed of money, only three to four people were sitting in the boat. According to Arpita, it was the last boat to the sea that day and expressed concern about it before going to the sea. He told him that as soon as his boat entered the sea, a large wave collided with a boat and the boat lost his balance.
